Do you take a commission when I get work as a result of using the service?
We do not take any commission when you get work by using the services provided by VFX Freelancer.

Who determines the rate for work?
Rates are agreed between you and the employer and as we do not take a cut of your wage you don't have to increase your rate to cover any commissions.

Do you guarantee work?
Although we do not guarantee that you will get work through subscribing to VFX Freelancer, we are committed to making VFX Freelancer a central resource for freelancers looking for work and for employers to find freelancers.

What happens when I get work through using VFX Freelancer?
When you get a new contract you are required to update your availability details. Maintaining your availability details will help you get further work when your current contract expires.

What are the rates of freelancers who are members of VFX Freelancer?
Rates are agreed between you and the freelancer and as we do not take a cut of the freelancers wage they don't have to increase their rates to cover any commissions.

How qualified are the freelancers on the VFX Freelancer database?
Freelancers on the VFX Freelancer database range from graduates to freelancers with many years experience. You will have access to all the relevant details of each freelancer allowing you to find the most suitable person for the job at the most economical rate.

What happens if we find that a freelancer is unsuitable?
Before you engage a freelancer it is up to you to make sure that they are suitable and you should take up any references supplied by the freelancer. If after using a freelancer you feel that they are still unsuitable you should fill in our online form to report the unsuitability of a freelancer in order for us to make any necessary changes to the database.

What happens when we engage a freelancer as a result of using the service?
When you engage a freelancer you are required to fill in an online form notifying us that you have a contract of employment with a freelancer contained within the VFX Freelancer database. This will make sure that freelancer's availability details are maintained to help you find suitable freelancers when you need them.
